Dr Achar has over 20 years experience in general practice having graduated from the University of Sydney in 1998 and trained a further 2 years at The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.  She has completed her certificate in Family Planning and  worked as a clinician at Family Planning NSW.

 

She enjoys all aspects of general practice with a special interest in Women’s health, Sexual Health and Mental Health.

 

When not working, Sharmila enjoys spending time with her 2 children and overseas  travel.
